Is men's skin different from women's?

Due to hormonal factors, men’s skin is on average slightly thicker than women’s. For the same reason, men’s skin produces more sebum, the skin’s natural oil. A clear difference on the face is beard growth, which can make the skin more sensitive, as hair follicles create more pathways deeper into the skin. However, men’s skin texture is generally rougher and less prone to dryness than women’s, which makes fine lines caused by dryness less common.
