Men's shampoos aren't just for men, they work great for everyone. The main difference is usually the more masculine scent and the fact they're often formulated specifically for shorter, barber-style haircuts.
HAIR WASH WITH SHAMPOO
Wet your hair thoroughly before applying shampoo to ensure it works effectively. First, pour the shampoo into your hands, rub them together, and then apply it to your scalp and throughout your hair. If your hair is long and not particularly dirty, you can focus the shampoo mainly on the scalp. Lather the shampoo for a moment, foaminess isn’t always a sign of cleaning power, but if the shampoo is designed to foam, it should lather well to perform at its best.
Rinse the shampoo out thoroughly. If your hair is very dirty or tends to get oily, you can repeat the wash if needed. Follow up with a conditioner suitable for your hair type.
If your scalp has issues such as dryness, dandruff, oiliness, or itchiness, you can also use a scalp tonic or hair water for additional care.
Curly or coarse hair - Avoid using too much shampoo, as it can dry out your hair. You don’t necessarily need to shampoo every day, but you can use conditioner daily to keep your hair moisturized and manageable.
Long hair - Use shampoo daily or as needed. You don’t necessarily have to lather the ends every time you wash; as you rinse, the shampoo water running through your hair will gently cleanse the lengths and ends.
Scalp issues such as dandruff, dryness, itchiness, or excessive oiliness
require a specialized shampoo, which can be used either as a treatment course or continuously, depending on the product.
